Day 1Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Pick-up at Tangier port or airport and drive through the Rif mountains to Tetouan and its Andalusian-style medina. Arrival in Chefchaouen in the afternoon.
Day 2Chefchaouen visit – Fes
Guided visit of Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of the north: Outa el Hammam square, the kasbah and its blue streets. In the afternoon, drive to Fes.
Day 3Fes visit – Ifrane – cedar forest – Midelt
Guided tour of the Fes medina (UNESCO): madrasas, Al Qarawiyyin and the tanneries. In the afternoon we cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar forest to Midelt.
Day 4Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
We enter the deep south through the Ziz Valley palm grove and Erfoud to Merzouga. At sunset, a camel ride to the camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 5Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes, camel ride back and breakfast. We pass Rissani and Todra Gorge to the Dades Valley.
Day 6Dades – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Through the Valley of Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs we reach Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou and cross the High Atlas to Marrakech.
Day 7Guided tour of Marrakech
