Pick-up at around 7:00 am at the riad where you are staying in Marrakech, departure and drive south of Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’Tichka mountain pass, with stops to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views and take photos. Visit to the women’s argan oil cooperative, where we will discover the artisanal manufacturing process and learn about the countless properties of argan oil for the human body. From there, we will continue south, to the fortified village of Aït Benhaddou. We will have time for lunch and to visit its spectacular Kasbah, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1989. Many international films have been shot in this unusual setting, such as Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara, Penélope Cruz, etc. After the visit, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, a city known as the great gateway to the desert, which served as one of the stopping points for the caravans that linked Marrakech and Timbuktu, where the Kasbah of Taourirt (the old town of Ouarzazate) stands out. From there, we will continue to the palm grove of Skoura and the Valley of Roses, where you will enjoy the natural contrast of the valleys, mountains, and the scent of flowers. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the Dades Valley.
In the second day of your 3 days tour from marrakech we will follow our way through the colourful Berber villages of the Dades valley, to get to Tineghir A beautiful valley of 15 km of date palms ending with spectacular Gorges, The road to the Gorge of todgha passes green palmeraies and enjoying walking under canyons of about 300m high. Afterwards we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara Desert afte your traditional lunch. Once you arrive to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, a small offroad takes you to the edge of the golden dunes where camels are waiting for you, and you can enjoy a beautiful camel ride over the sand dunes and watch a majestic sahara sunset on your way to the camp. After reaching your destination, you will be greated with a hot cup of tea, You will be shown to your beautiful comfortable private tents equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers to relax and settle before dinner time. After a delicious meal, fire will be lit and a festive ambiance takes over with tradional music drumps play by local nomads under the starry night of the desert !
The last day, after watching the sunrise you’ll have breakfast at the camp then you can ride the camels or transfer back by 4WD back to the originally started point where you will meet your driver then we’ll travel back to Marrakech through Alnif, Tazarine, Draa valley, Agdez and Ouarazazate. In Ourazazate we will have free time for lunch in the afternoon we continue our journey to Marrakech arrival in the late afternoon/evening, Transfer to your acommodation, and your 3 days tour from marrakech to Desert comes to the end.
