Departure of the 6-day Morocco tour, in the morning from Marrakech at 8:00 a.m., picked up by our team driver, Marrakech Al Desierto. On the way to Ouarzazate, along the way we will cross the High Atlas through the surprising Tizi n’Tichka pass, 2,260 meters high.
Shortly after crossing the Atlas, we will take a track to visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet. We will pass through various Berber villages and arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an incredible fortified village, more than 800 years old, where famous films such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven have been filmed.
Finally, we finish the visit to “Ait Ben Haddou” and we will head to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the film studios. Here we will spend the first night of the trip. Dinner and accommodation in Riad/Kasbah.
After breakfast and a visit to the Kasbah Taourirt, we will head towards Zagora, crossing the Anti Atlas Mountains and passing through the Tizi n Tinifift pass, at an altitude of 1,600 metres.
Entering the Draa Valley along a track we will see various Berber villages and kasbahs inside. Leaving behind the villages of TINZOULINE and ZAGORA, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will take another track that crosses lost villages until we reach Lake Lmaider, in Tafraoute.

Continuing along the “Paris-Dakar” trail, we will cross more solitary villages, wadis (dry riverbeds), oases and the dunes of Ouzina. Following the route we will visit the Berber villages and take the road towards Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco. Lunch with Berber pizza with a Berber family. And we will arrive at Merzouga, in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi.
At the hotel we will leave everything we do not need and the dromedaries will be waiting for us to enter the desert, while the sun sets, until we reach the Jaimas camp in the middle of the desert of high dunes, where we will spend the night in a Jaima. Dinner and night in a Jaima under the stars of the desert.
We wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return by camel to the Hotel/Riad, shower and breakfast.
We set off to go around El Erg Chebbi , an expanse of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, more than 250 metres high, connecting by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar, with the mountains that border Algeria in the background.
Stop at the Tissardmine Oasis and continue to a nomadic settlement where we will learn some secrets of their life and customs. Later stop at a panoramic point where you can see (El Erg Chebbi) as a whole. Stop in “Khamlia”, a village native to Mali.
where we can relax with a cup of tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Return to the hotel/Riad, lunch and free afternoon to climb the dunes and enjoy a romantic sunset.
After dinner, a Berber drum show awaits us. Dinner and overnight in Riad/Hotel.
Breakfast, shower and freshen up. Once refreshed, we will head towards Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and the first imperial city of Morocco.
We will take the road towards “Erfoud”, rich in black stone and marine fossils (if you want, we can stop at a fossil factory) and we will arrive at the Tafilalet Palm Grove.
We will visit the Toda Gorges and finally arrive at the Dades Valley, dinner and night in Riad/Kasbah.
Leaving the Dades Valley behind on the route of the “Thousand Kasbahs”, we will pass through the surprising Valley of Roses and arrive at the palm grove of Skoura, where the most famous kasbah in the area is located.
From this point we will begin the return journey to Marrakech, transfer to your Hotel at the end of the 6 days Desert Tour, and our services.
